It is then essential that this seminar would take into account the description of the situation and of the confronted problems on bridge management in different countries.

For this purpose, we attach a great importance to an active involvement of representatives from African Countries, and offer them the opportunity to propose a brief paper summarising the main characteristics of their national bridge management system.

This seminar and the associated events will provide the attendants with unique opportunity to exchange experiences and to hear from senior engineers who are directly involved in the management of bridges and to get great benefits of best practice for the implementation of bridge management.
