About interactive projects


Some projects are interactive. This means that documents and news will be regularly published to the web site while the project is current. Interactive projects will display the following link bar at the side of the screen :



         

Here are some examples of documents which an interactive project will contain :
  • Background informations
  • Meeting notes
  • Papers for discussion
  • 'Other documents' - anything else!

Research Partners contributions

Research partners will be able to contribute to the website by submitting their own documents to the website. To be able to contribute they will need a username and password which can be obtained from TRL.

Email Forum

The email forum allows you to send email messages to the principal contact for the project.


Getting a username name password


If you are a research partner and need a username and password, contact webmaster@transport-links.org.


Contributing to interactive projects


To contribute to interactive projects you must be a research partner with a username and password to allow you to log into the partners page (see link on project link bar).

On the partners page you will see a set of links which allow you to :
  • Add Contribution
  • List Contributions
  • View documents posted for partners

Add Contribution

This displays a form which you can use to submit your file. Contributions are not published to the web site straight away - they must first be reviewed by the projects' webmaster before they are published to the website.

List Contributions

This displays a list of all the documents you have submitted to the website. It dipslyas their Publish Status - this will be UNDER REVIEW or PUBLISHED.

View Documents posted for partners

This displays a list of all the documents which have been posted for partners to comment on.
