The objective of the web site is to provide a vehicle for information sharing activities. It is divided into six main sections: freight; passengers; safety; impacts; infrastructure; and other topics. In each of them, links are provided to information and data produced by USDA and DOT units as well as other Federal and State agencies, and academic institutions. Included are web sites, reports (or abstracts), statistical reports and data resources, technical models, bibliographic databases and directories. This web site is directed at those working in agricultural and transportation issues in the United States or those interested in the American experience.
